After 2 gours of hiking , it is paradise.
Grabbing some pasta and wine after a nice 45 minute uphill hike was the treat of a lifetime. Great food, wine and service.
Family run lodge at the foot of heaven, “panino pastin e formai” (sandwich with meat and cheese) is a must

Refuge for everyone an hour's walk from the car park. Breathtaking view of the Monti del Sole. Excellent food and reasonable prices.
Possibility of dinner + overnight stay. Possibility of eating outdoors. New management truly up to par, today interacted with Mike, an easy-going, hilarious, empathetic and very polite boy!
Unfortunately I can't change my mind. Sunday in November, refuge open. In order not to be a "press" tourist and bring a sandwich from home, I stopped for lunch at Bristot. For the quality of the food eaten (a first course that was too "homemade" and a trio of side dishes with a bit of sauerkraut or cabbage, just 4 slices of peppers and another vegetable), I paid an excessively high bill which, first trio with beer and coffee on the side, it almost cost 25 euros. Ok the crisis, but neither is it an unattainable refuge for supplies. I think there won't be another opportunity to have lunch.
